The primary objectives of the Institute for Clinical Research Education (ICRE) are to develop, nurture, and support a cadre of clinical and translational scientists by building on the University of Pittsburgh's existing clinical research training programs to establish a comprehensive program with activities ranging from early research exposure for high school students to programs for faculty.
Application Information
Applications for the REACH Program will be available on this site from December 15 to April 15. A complete application packet includes the following:
- Online application.
- Copy of the applicant's CV.
- Letter of support from the applicant's employer (e.g., department chair, division chief, or residency or fellowship director), providing an assurance that the applicant will have 75% protected time while participating in REACH.
Applicants will be notified regarding their acceptance on or before June 15.
Participation is also contingent upon receipt of payment. Payment in full must be submitted to the ICRE by June 1, either by check (made payable to "University of Pittsburgh Physicians") or by using a University of Pittsburgh (32-digit) interdepartmental charge number.
